Kid-Friendly Classes & Family-Focused Activities
We are thrilled to offer a variety of children’s classes designed to provide a hands-on, educational experience while ensuring fun and safety. Below is a breakdown of the first set of classes, with more to be announced in our summer update:
1. Children’s Situational Awareness
This class teaches kids how to be aware of their surroundings in different environments. They will learn simple techniques to recognize potential dangers, stay alert, and understand basic safety measures to help them stay safe at home, school, or outdoors.

2. Wildlife Signs
In this class, children will explore the signs of wildlife in their natural habitats. They will learn how to identify animal tracks, scat, nests, and other clues that animals leave behind. It’s a fun, hands-on way to connect with nature and understand the behavior of animals.

3. Important Pollinators
Pollinators like bees, butterflies, and birds play a crucial role in the ecosystem. This class will teach children about the importance of pollinators and how they help plants grow and reproduce. Kids will also learn how to protect and attract these vital creatures to their own gardens and yards.

4. Windowsill Herb Garden
In this class, kids will get their hands dirty as they learn how to grow their own herbs in small containers on a windowsill. They’ll discover the basics of planting, watering, and caring for plants, as well as the many benefits of having their own little herb garden to use in the kitchen.

5. Basic First Aid
Children will learn essential first aid skills, such as how to treat cuts, scrapes, burns, and other minor injuries. They will also be taught how to assess emergency situations and know when to seek help. This class helps children feel empowered and prepared to act in case of small accidents.

6. Sewing Basics
